It depends on the situation, the bank, and the level of complexity. It’s difficult to define even a single timeframe — sometimes the analysis may take a week, and other times a month or even two.
That depends too! As a rule – 20% of the property’s value. Some banks, at the cost of slightly higher margins, allow for a down payment of less than 20% (but more than 10%). There is also a current program that allows you to apply for a mortgage without any down payment, provided certain conditions are met.
